Giving a preview of what’s to come, Candice Swanepoel works her magic in the new Spring 2011 preview for Victoria’s Secret.
The sexy South African looks nothing short of amazing in the recently released photo collection and while she’s barely wearing anything, she wears it well.
In a recent interview, Candice revealed the major contrast between her upbringing and her current lifestyle as a top model.
“I grew up on a huge dairy-and-cattle farm, my world of adventure. South Africa is a unique and mysterious place it does have its share of problems, but that is part of our character. The state I live in is called KwaZulu-Natal, one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa: we had the beach, the mountains, tropical weather in summer, and snow in winter. The Zulu culture is a huge part of who I am today, and I feel privileged to have grown up with that beauty around me.”
When she was a teenager, Candice finally ventured away from home. “I was 15 when I went to London for the first time. I had never taken a flight, I didn’t even know what a subway was there were so many things I had to learn; it was a brave step for me, and for my parents to let me go, but I was so excited to experience the world that I didn’t care what it took. I had grown up my entire life on my farm and spent four years at boarding school, but I always knew there was so much more to see and I wanted to do it all on my own. I’m a very independent person, and achieving what I have alone feels so much more rewarding.”
Capping off a travel intensive weekend, Adam Lambert was spotted arriving on a flight at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Sunday (December 12).
Clad in a black and white skull-face t-shirt with black jeans and a matching winter cap, the “American Idol” alum strolled through the terminal while tweeting to his millions of followers, “Good to be home.”
The flight to Los Angeles comes after Adam made stops in both New York City and Sunrise, Florida for Jingle Ball festivities over the past few days.
Once finished up with the Sunrise gig, the 28-year-old wrote, “Had a great time at jingle ball last night.. Time to finally head back to sunny California. ”
Gathering together to honor the best when it comes to star stylists, Tinseltown turned up in full force at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California on Sunday evening (December 12).
Working the red carpet ahead of the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards were gorgeous gals including Selena Gomez, Kate Bosworth, Camilla Belle and Victoria Justice.
Also on hand were Katie Cassidy, Zooey Deschanel, Dave Annable, Odette Yustman and Emily Blunt, as well as “Glee” stars including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Jayma Mays and Chris Colfer.
With the ceremony being hosted by comedian Natasha Leggero, the Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design in Film honors went to Colleen Atwood while “Glee” costume designer Lou Eyrich received the Outstanding Achievement in TV.
Drawing out quite the guest list, the stars were out in full force for the 20th annual Women of the Year awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Monday night (November 8).
Lighting up the red carpet were big names such as Kate Hudson, Fergie, Josh Duhamel, Hilary Swank, Cher, Kelly Osbourne, Julia Roberts and Janet Jackson.
During the course of the evening’s affairs, the star-studded audience toasted singer/actress Cher by doting upon her the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Other honorees included Julia Roberts, Fergie, Donatella Versace, Queen Rania of Jordan and numerous female sports stars.
To cap it all off, thespecial event also included a special performance by Grammy-nominated singer Janelle Monaé.
In order to draw a younger crowd to Game 3 of the World Series this Saturday, a sneak peak of Justin Bieber’s video “Never Say Never” will air on Fox.
Just before the San Francisco Giants take on the Texas Rangers, a video that the “Baby” singer filmed while wearing both teams’ gear will make its debut.
Aside from the Biebs’ video, Kelly Clarkson will sing the national anthem while Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson will announce the winners of the World Series of Costumes photo contest.
In other news, it is being reported that Justin Bieber is one of the hottest Halloween costumes this year.
Pushing forth with their holiday celebratory agenda, Paris and Nicky Hilton turned up at the Playboy Mansion for their annual Halloween party on Saturday night (October 30).
With Paris choosing to wear a sexy indian girl outfit and Nicky looking cute in a Superwoman costume, the hotel heiress sisters joined pal Brandon Davis who sported a wacky wig and an orange jumpsuit.
Almost losing her headdress and top during the course of the night, an excited Paris tweeted to her many fans and followers, “Just went into The Haunted House at The Playboy Mansion. So scary and fun!!!”
Making for quite the busy weekend, the former “Simple Life” star spent the previous night hosting her own costume party with guests including her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, as well as boyfriend Cy Waits, Adrien Brody, Kim Porter and Perla Ferrar.
Continuing along on their week of beach fun, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spotted out soaking up the sun in Los Cabos, Mexico on Wednesday (October 1).
For the third straight day, the “Georgia Rule” actress and her British DJ girlfriend splashed about in the water in between sessions lounging on beach recliners by the waterside.
“This is the first healthy relationship Lindsay has ever had,” a pal of Miss Lohan told OK! magazine. “Both Lindsay and Samantha have total mutual respect and love for each other. All the nonsense Lindsay’s had in past relationships – the crazy fights, cheating and general immaturity – is totally absent. This is the real thing.”

Slowly but surely making her move into the public spotlight, Kendall Jenner has transitioned from her modeling debut to making an appearance in the world of music videos.
The 14-year-old younger sister of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian has made her initial video appearance in One Call’s new offering titled “BlackLight”.
Miss Jenner, who hit headlines for a summertime swimsuit shoot, can be seen in the One Call project while sporting a belly baring top paired with a little black tutu.
Of the gig’s shoot alongside the band’s frontman, Kendall – who turns 15 on November 3rd – told E! News, “He was a really nice guy so it’s fine.”
She’s definitely made her mark on the entertainment industry, and now Lady GaGa is going to be the subject of a college course.
According to the New York Times, University of South Carolina a sociology professor is planning to offer a class next semester called “Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame.”
Professor Mathiew Deflem, who is an uber Gaga fan, explains that he plans to explore what makes a person famous and what it means to be famous in today’s society.
The course description is as follows: “The central objective is to unravel some of the sociologically relevant dimensions of the fame of Lady Gaga.”
As one of the hottest pop stars out there these days, Ke$ha is set to release a promising new offering called “Cannibal.”
The “Tik Tok” singer has been working on the “companion” piece to her platinum-plus debut disc, “Animal.”
Much like Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster,” “Cannibal” will be sold both as a standalone album and as part of a deluxe reissue of “Animal.”
The disc will feature eight new songs produced by Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Bangladesh – and a new remix.

He’s been hard at work on the latest “Mission: Impossible” as of late, and Tom Cruise has just announced the name of the upcoming film.
On Thursday (October 28), the “Knight and Day” actor attended the Doha Film Festival and revealed that his newest offering will be dubbed “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.”
“One of the things I always wanted for the franchise was for it not to have a number afterwards,” Cruise said. “I’ve never done sequels to films and I never thought of these films as sequels.”
Continuing on, Tom said, “Paramount has done a great job in coming up with a title, so it’s not going to be MI 2, 3, 4: It’s going to be “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.”
He’s been busily touring all parts of the world, and now Adam Lambert has announced plans to release a new acoustic album.
Breaking the news to Aussie host Dylan Lewis, the “American Idol” alum revealed that he hopes to release the new offering by late November/early December 2010.
Lambert dished, “There is going to be an acoustic CD,. I don’t have an exact release date. Probably around Thanksgiving time — November, December.”
Going into more detail, Adam continued, “We went around Europe in the earlier part of this year … and we did a lot of promo, so I had Monty, my guitar player, and my drummer at the time … We just did very stripped-back versions of the songs. We got our hands on some of those recordings. Then we also recorded some of the stuff from the actual Glam Nation Tour, so it’s going to be a mix of both.”
As for his plans to embark on recording a second studio album, Lambert dished, “There’s a new album that is definitely being theorized. It’s being thought about, it’s bubbling to the surface. I have things that I’m writing down, little notes that I’m writing here and there, but nothing’s started yet on it. But hopefully it’ll be out by the spring or summer of next year.”
