Michael Douglas got Throat Cancer

Michael Douglas, 65, has been diagnosed with throat cancer and will be undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.
Douglas’ rep says doctors discovered a tumor and will the actor is to have eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Michael’s physicians expect the Wall Street actor to make a full recovery.
There is no word from his rep if smoking could be a cause of his cancer. The actor and his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, said in 2006 that they were trying to quit their half-pack a day cigarette habit.
“I am very optimistic,” Douglas said in a statement.
