Kate Hudson and Muse’s Matt Bellamy make it official

Matt, 32, has been dating Kate Hudson for the previous two months. They at last come out as a couple at Glastonbury. And Matt is clearly enthusiastic.

“Things are going great at the moment; I’m very happy,” he said. “We’ve tried to keep things confidential so we haven’t told anyone how we met or any details like that.”

They first met two years ago in Australia. But Kate, 31, was married to Chris Robinson then, and Matt also had someone in tow. It’s believed they met again recently through a mutual friend.

With their story finally outed, the next step is facing the parents. Most men would love to meet Kate’s mom – Goldie Hawn…but Matt’s not too sure.

“We’re meeting next week,” the Muse rocker confides. “I’m quite nervous – It’s embarrassing when you meet someone’s family for the first time.”

And assuming Goldie doesn’t have him blast are there plans for the future?

“It’s too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me in a few months, though,” Matt counsels. “I’ll let you know how it went with Goldie – then, who knows?”

But it’s not too soon for bling – Matt apparently dropped $10,000 on a diamond-encrusted ring from the exclusive British jeweler, Theo Fennell to add to Kate’s hand, and is clearly quite fanatical by his new friend.

Kate and A-Rod lasted for just seven months. So, is this true love at last or is Matt also doomed – the floor is now open for voting…
